Jupiter Farms Elementary School: This $2.9M projectincluded milling and resurfacing of the existing parking, new accessibleparking and accessible route provided to comply with ADA requirements, and doorhardware and signage. Campus-wide Fan Coil Unit replacement, Chilled Waterunits, field verifications and replacement of Smoke detectors. A new PA systemand a full Fire Alarm system was installed. Also, campus-wide classroomlighting upgrade to LED.
CrainAtlantis, as the prime consultant reviewed and verified the completeness forthe proposed scope of work, schedules and costs. Through testing andobservations, developed a complete set of design documents for permit in accordwith all applicable Florida Building Codes. Crain Atlantis provided constructionadministration services and coordinated with The School District of Palm BeachCounty Project Managers to ensure the accurate and timely processing ofContract Documents including RFIs (Request for Information), Pay Requests, CCUA(Construction Contingency Use Authorization), CAUR (Construction Allowance UseRequest), and Construction Directives. Crain Atlantis received 3.5 rating by TheSchool District of Palm Beach County.
