NewHorizons Elementary School: This $2.7M project included milling and resurfacingof the existing parking, new accessible parking and accessible route provided to comply with ADA requirements, anddoor hardware and signage. Campus-wide Fan Coil Unit replacement, Chilled Waterunits, field verifications and replacement of Smoke detectors. A new PA systemand the Fire Alarm Control Panel was replaced. Also, campus-wide classroomlighting upgrade to LED.
Crain Atlantis, as the prime consultant reviewed and verified the completeness for the proposed scope of work, schedules and costs. Through testing and observations, developed a complete set of design documents for permit in accord with all applicable Florida Building Codes. C/A provided construction administration services and coordinated with SDPBC Project Managers to ensure the accurate and timely processing of Contract Documents including RFIs (Request for Information), Pay Requests, CCUA (Construction Contingency Use Authorization CAUR (Construction Allowance Use Request), and Construction Directives. Crain Atlantis received 3.5 rating by The School District of Palm Beach County.
