Crain Atlantis, as prime consultant, assessed the needs of theschool, and designed a complete solution to address the current deficiencies.Crain Atlantis prepared a complete set of design documents for permitting andconstruction, liaised with all governing bodies, and has continued to providebid assistance and construction administration in accord with all applicableFlorida Building codes. The project incorporated all FBC 2017 requirements.
West Hollywood Elementary School: Scope for this project includeda complete renovation of a 150,000 SF campus including: HVAC system, new FireAlarm systems and building envelope improvements. HVAC renovations consisted ofthe design and specification of a new, high efficiency campus chilled watersystem, air handling units and a new EMS. A new state-of-the-art voiceenunciated fire alarm system was designed for the school campus. BuildingEnvelope improvements included window and door repair, stucco and painting. Thedesign process included a full scope assessment of the facility. The design is100% complete and construction costs are $3,300,000.
